And with regards to Wigan's Interest, I think if he develops well at Salford I can see him being a player that would fit there style of strong fast forward play. I think he's defiantly a talent they'll be keeping a close eye on.

Have been told that Gleeson will have a starting number 3 or 4, Ratchford keeps number 6 and Holdsworth has got 7. also have been told that Gibson hasnt got a contract with us yet, not sure if this true about gibo though.

I'm starting to lose patience a little now. I'd like to see our squad on paper on the clubs website ? What's the hold up? All other clubs have there's up?

perhaps we have a signing in the pipeline and dont want to distribute the numbers till its sealed?

Ratchford back at stand-off and Matty Smith at interchange hooker then. I bet a few people will be happy with that.

I wouldn't be happy I'd rather Holdsworth play stand-off because he has the abilty to put players through gaps from first reciever. Quality half backs like DH always appear to have time on the ball before releasing it at the exact right moment. How ofter do you see a player make a pass too early because their focus has switched to thinking about taking a hit? Holdsworth to me seems calm headed and brave and he's prepared to take the impact of the tackle for the benefit of creating space for a teammate.



I know the scrum half and stand-off positions are more similar these days with one playing left and one right but I'd rather have Holdsworth creating attacking plays from scrum situations. (Rather than just feeding a scrum and making a simple pass to say Ratchford)
