Could have a similar impact to when we signed another young centre from Wigan by the name of Scott Naylor a few years back?'"

I'm not disputing Gleeson wanted out because that has been obvious for months. However, the alleged figure that Warrington owe will take some finding and the Gleeson fee and large salary saving will certainly help matters.
Why else would you sell an International player less than a third of the way into the season that has always performed so well under Tony Smith in GB colours? If anything you would have thought Smith's arrival would have helped and improved Gleeson's situation at Warrington? |
