Richie Myler has been offered a six-figure 3 year deal to stay at the club... it's believed to be the biggest contract in the clubs history.
I also understand he's keen to stay.
However... we all know that the moneybags club that is Warrington are more than likely to be able to fiddle the books.... ooops.... **cough**... match or better the offer... so I'd say that if he doesn't end up staying then we can at least comfort ourselves with the knowledge that the club did everything they could to keep him.
Let's hope he signs... although I think Mr Offiah may have a hand in deciding that because I'm sure he'll be off down the road telling Warrington what we have offered him.

Good on the club for showing ambition and recognising what Myler can do for us. Now we must just hope that he accepts the offer. I should imagine all Salford fans will want him to stay.

Thank christ this whole thing is starting to get sorted out. Not sure he's worth a six figure salary this early in his career (especially from a club as financially weak as ours) but I'd love to be proved wrong. Let's just hope the rest of our young lads aren't represented by Offiah or we may only have enough money to play sevens next season.

I DONT THINK HE WILL STAY .I DONT KNOW THE FULL DETAILS OF THE CONTRACT BUT FOR THE FIRST SEASON OF THE NEW CONTRACT SALFORD WERE GOING TO GIVE HIM 60 GRAND BUT HE HAS TURNED IT DOWN.THEY MIGHT OF COME BACK WITH A BETTER OFFER I DONT KNOW. I DO KNOW ONE THING THATS A FACT IF MYLER STAYS THERE WILL BE A LOT OF UNREST AMONGST THE PLAYERS OVER WAGES
