Ask Ben Kennedy about Johns.

Thurston certainly has a pelulant side.
Wally Lewis appeared to be completely unhinged at times.
At Saints, Goulding was a great scrum half but would get dragged into trouble too easily.
Sam's a bit of a , so what. Its highlighted because he's a star player, so people pay more attention to what he's up to, but that doesn't mean that people only mention it because they're jealous.
Sam has a lot of negetive things around his rugby persona, but at the same time its tied up with that scrappy, competetive nature that helps make him such an exciting prospect.
I for one wish Tomkins's contemporary at Saints had half his commitment and resolution, instead of of light weight, biscuit boned, tin-man hearted, moneygrabbing premadonna.

| Nice kick through for his try last night.
Regarding his "cheating", I'm pretty sure I twice heard silverwood dismiss his claims for a hoding down penatly last night, once with "Don't trap the arm, Sam." and "That's your fault.".

Exactly. I've said this all along - it's up to refs to spot these tricks and not be scared to dismiss them. Nothing wrong with a ref doing what Silverwood did last night - Sam only continues to try these tricks because he's been getting away with them. Referee smart and he'll soon stop.

If that's the case then ST should have been penalised, he'll soon stop

I don't think full back the best place for him. It makes use of his obvious talent of running the ball, but I don't think he'll develop into the ball handler he could be if he stays there.
He's got the potential to be a really good 6, I think, but I worry that playing him at 1 will turn him into a bit of a 1 tricky pony, almost.
No skin off my nose, being a Saints fan, but I'm just thinking with my England hat on.

You'll just ruin the game by filling it with penalties, ST is penalising himself by inadvertantly slowing the PTB dawn, he's also making it less likely for him to win a penalty if/when he ever is actually impeded.

| Only fill games with penaltys where ST is playing either he'll stop or the coach will stop hom for putting his team under pressure
There needs to be a consequence for cheating to stop

But if he doesn't get a penalty, he IS putting his team under pressure by allowing the defence extra time to reset while he carries out his theatrics.
