Saints had a bit of a monopoly of crap Welsh players round about then, Roger Owen must have ranked as an all time buffoon, Chris Seldon was inept, and even the superstar signings such as Clive Griffiths were tripe. I think it is good that we are now exporting players back to them such as Ashton and Pryce, revenge is a dish best served cold.

Scott Quinnell was a very good player. I would have loved him to stay at Wigan.
