If he did turn it down, I wonder why?? He doesn't seem to be a prima donna or trouble maker.

I think one year he got married instead. Fair enough, other times he's been injured. He's always had a bit of Paul Newlove about him I think.

I don't think he and McNamara get on too well. He will be 34 at the start of the World Cup anyway so I'm not surprised to see him out of the loop.

the fact that a few good games in the NRL doesn't make you some kind of superstar, many kids have come and gone from state of origin after just a couple good games.



as for bailey, i find it funny (and rather sad) that many of the criticisms he gets from fans are actually what makes him a really good player.
