You can still see the game and it's very easy from there to make offside decisions, but you do miss some of the little details.'"
Not as good as the Popular stand at the GPW is though.......

| Quote Chorlton RL="Chorlton RL"Anyone been in North stand third tier? That's where my tickets are. Been looking on a certain video site and it seems that its not a bad place to sit; you're high up, but not too far from the pitch, you get to see everything, good view..'"
Ihave been watching UTD many times there and I have booked my ticket for this weekend in near enough the same place, upper tier on the saints side obviously

| Cheers for that. I've been to a United match against Blackburn a couple of years ago. I was in the East upper tier. I wasn't overly impressed, partly because you're far away from the far action and the Stretford end at the far side of the pitch and partly because that's the family enclosure, so there was no atmosphere. Also, because of the shape of the stand, even though we were above the Blackburn fans, we couldn't hear anything from them. Ronaldo did score two in front of us, which was alright though.
I chose the North upper tier because I thought you'd get a better view of all the pitch and I'm assuming that you get a better feel of the atmophere being able to see most of the ground and that massive roof reflecting the sound. Should be good.

In Fairness to Saints it harder to sell tickets to something that has become a regular thing. You are always more eager to go something that only comes along once every few years than you are to something you experienced only last year.
I do expect an electric atmosphere. And the game should be a cracker.

| someone mentioned that wigan have shifted about 32,000 tickets 12,000 through the club and someone at the rfl mentioned that 20,000 have been sold to people with wigan post codes.
I really wouldnt be suprised to see wiganers start buying from st.helens now.

| I'm happy Wigan are there, even though we [Leeds ain't and i hope they turn up in their thousands....tens of thousands!
To me, being born in the 80's Wigan RL personify Rugby League besides my own team.
Losing to them in the 90's continually has only served for me to want to beat the in a final ever since.
Even though we won't this year, i am more than happy to see them this Saturday and will be on their side ever so slightly during the game[even the side of the stadium their supporters will monopolise!
Looking forward to this game a lot.

| In the top tier of the north stand is ok apart from you cant see the crowd and when a kick goes up you cant see the ball. I really dont like old trafford though, but we dont really have much choice but to have it there.
