don't think it was a bad attendance it just looks bad the way Wembley is set out now with club Wembley seating put 65,000 in old Trafford and it can look nearly full

78k is an absolute fraud. There were nowhere near that many there. Club Wembley is a great excuse for the apologists on this forum who would prefer to make excuses rather than face the fact that our game is in decline at a quicker rate than ever. Who's idea was it to move the final to August? An even worse decision than franchising!

You missed the important point; Why am I at home?. I went to every CC final from 1986 (8 month old) to 2006. This year I didn't even realise the final was on until last week. I haven't been for 10 years now because my enthusiasm for rugby league is non-existent due to the crap way our sport is run. My mum and dad used to run a coach trip to Wembley every year. We used to have a waiting list to get on the trip. This year only two people went, but lets ignore all of this and bury our heads in the sand!
The first step to fixing a problem is admitting that you have one. |
