Just thought id see what you guys thought of the game and how can you guys see this one going?



Three stands at Headingley are now sold out (southstand, carnegie stand and main stand) so we are looking at a big crowd for the game. Biggest of the season.

For me....Leeds win, and will decide minor premiership (if anyone still calls it that)

not bothered i dont support any team really anymore just enjoy a good game but leeds win for me

Winner takes all by dealing a massive psychological blow and secure home field advantage for the playoffs (if they still work that way lol)

Saints. Again.

Leeds bending the RULES again and wrestling Saints to the ground and taking cheap shots whilst the ever aging Saints team try to show their flair and speed and moaning all the time.



Whoever the match officials are have my sympathy

This time I think Leeds will win the league and the GF and will actually be called the top team on merit.

The league champions deserve a better trophy than the hub cap. One option would be for the Rugby League to use one of their considerably superior and unused trophies such as the Championship Trophy. (similar in size and style to the Challenge Cup).

I,m almost sure the League Championship Cup was handed over and placed in the Wigoon Trophy Cabinet for ever.

Said, the first place on the ladder should get first placed prize money and then let the playoff money be dished out on those positions.

I feel from a backroom POV it might have an influence on how 1st place is viewed.

Does that mean that if Leeds beat Sts we should be crowned champs and we can opt out of the play-offs altogether? Or vice versa if Sts win? After all, we don't need those extra games to tell us who the champions are.



Funny how everyone complaisn about the play-offs not being as worthy, and yet Leeds have got ahead of Sts by virtue of playing two dreadful teams in succession, and the league leaders' trophy now comes down to a one-off game. Marvellously representative of the quality of the respective teams that is....
