cheers mate, I think burgess will go seen as though all his brothers are out there, great player and will be even better in the future.

Great player? Makes lots of mistakes, gives away penalties and misses tonnes of tackles. Yes he's only young but he's nowhere near the player most fans think he is. If we had a fully fit squad (yeah right) he wouldn't make my 17.

Who would you pick in front of him?



He makes the odd mistake but other than that he 's been excellent this season.

He's not great yet and a long way off, but he shows some serious potential.

He is not the only one that misses the odd tackle and drops the ball, handling can be improved, defensively I think he has been pretty solid, few big hits stick out in my mind!



The damage he does when taking the ball up is priceless! Wins a very high percentage of his collisions and quite often gets a fast play the ball from it. This is where his knocks on creep in. For me we need to try keep him, he is the future and the best link for the others possibly returning in the future.



This is of course if we survive!

He's come on leaps and bounds as the season has progressed.

I watched the Rabbitohs and Roosters this morning on Premier Sports. 3 of the Burgess brothers on the field-- Sam man of the match with over 40 tackles.

Can you imagine the publicity if all 4 played for the same team?

Perhaps we should say to Russell Crowe-- come in and be our benefactor like you were for Souths and we'll let you have Tom. Your Aussie team can create history and you can adopt a British team with an iconic ground.

He could relaunch his film career with "Bradford - Confidential" where he stars as the good-guy in a dark tail of deceit and corruption set against background of a mysterious hole in the ground being fought over by local gangs?

Or he could provide the Narration of a dark documentary in the style of hard hitting Aussie Surf Doc, Bra Boys.

I think Burgess has made good progress this year and is easily one of the best Props of his age in SL IMO. In the last couple of months he seems to have cut out some of the errors and is doing longer minutes. I'd like to hold onto him if possible, seems unlikely though.

Depends whether he wants to play or watch. As far as I know George hasn't played for Souths yet. The lifestyle mat be great but they won't keep you for ever with no return. By the way is there any limit in Oz on overseas players as that would give Souths four from the same family

George played last week and in today's game against the Roosters. He did not look out of place. Luke is playing regularly and seems to be a better player than when he was at the Rhinos. As I mentioned earlier, Sam was the man of the match.

George has made his 1st grade debut at Souths too.
