Just on the Sam Moa comparason, he now has impact, not the best in the league as b4c2010 points out - but impact nonetheless. If I'm reading your argument correctly this explains why its ok for Hull to sign sam moa because he offers something, whereas ah van is untried in the nrl therefore we might as well try an untried british player who could give us the same. Am I right?
My question would be how many NRL games had Sam Moa played before being signed by Hull? I know how many, its 53 less than AH Vans 54 apperances. So he was untried and could easily be argued at that time that some british prospects of the time [imight [/ihave given you the same impact. Or that your signing of Moa is exactly the same if not slightly worse than the signing of Ah Van by the logic of measuring against un-named potential.
...just to point out, I have no problem with us signing Ah Van or you signing Moa.
