When you consider that keal Carlile started today for hull kr I think the game missed an opportunity there. Two players at the top of the sport after serious heart health issues. That should have been in the national press

and it would have been if they were Rugby Union players....



Still, it was very heartwarming (no pun intended) to witness the welcome Purtell received - from both sets of fans. I can't have been the only one with tears in my eyes! Great to see that the RL community comes together to support their own, and club loyalties do not get in the way of more important things.

There were way more photographers at the match then I have ever seen before. So I would not be surprised to see some coverage in the nationals tomorrow.

Most were there purely because there was only one other game on today, but yes there will be quite a bit of decent coverage

I'd drop/rest Kear tbh. His defence is very suspect, and Purtell is taller than most wingers, which we could use to our advantage.

Can agree, he was at fault for their try flew out of the line with no chance of getting the ball. He is quick though
