At the moment Donaldson (injury excepted) is nowhere near Ferres. Hopefully for RL he will be better but he has a long way to go physically. Whitehead is about the same effectiveness but will undoubtedly be better.

Lets hope that they both push on this year. whiteheads form (silly penalties aside) has been really good. Hopefully Olbison can be pushing for a Knights place soon also.

I'd rather see our players picked as it both means they are among the top players in their position and playing at a higher level should improve them.

I also wonder if the RFL have considered arranging a mid season match against France for the Knights squad.

If they were playing at a higher level for a decent coach, I would agree. But it's McNamara. And to be honest, I'd kind of rather our players were kept away from his coaching as much as possible.

Strange that Peacock can get in the 32 man England Squad after being injured for so long and not having played a game this season, yet no Bulls players MN seems to be keeping to form!

To be honest, it probably is best at the minute that none of our players are being selected for the England Elite squad. We've got alot on at the minute with injuries to key players, and the last thing we need is setting off to these "training camps" and getting injuries.



As well as that, it enables the boys to focus on their club form, ie. playing for Bradford.

Or additionally make them up their club form to try and get in the squad. Both good things in my book.



But then I'm Scottish so really not bothered about the England squad, sooner it goes back to GB the better
