Was always going to be a tough ask to end the year with our fixtures compared to Wakey. Season ends with disappointment but the players have given so much over recent weeks I think mentally they have just run out of steam.



Let's hope 2013 can be the start of a re-build ala Wakefield.

Yes it's over. Gutting to lose out to the play offs by a f*****g point. After everything, after all the this season, after a six point deduction, to miss out by a b@$tard point is pretty sickening.

To be fair if we get as many wins as we did this season we'll be in playoffs. Rebuilding needs to be done with so many lads but this team did enough to be there. Such a shame when not marking the playoffs isn't the players fault, though last two performances have been disappointing.

They have shown plenty of fight/effort to the cause today at least. But far too many errors and Catalans extra class has cost us.



Special mention to Sammut for his 4 try haul. The man isn't perfect but he has that ability to procedure something special. Shame we haven't seen it too often this year.
