Just got my team card through and it got me working a few things out, correct me if I'm wrong.



1000 team card points gets you £10 off places like play.com and itunes.



Now you get 5 points for every £1 so get to get 1000 points you need to spend £200.



Now I love Bradford but I doubt Ill spend £200 often, this is what I typically buy a season.

I'll probably get a shirt with name print - £45

Away tickets (does this count?) - 5 matches could be £12 each making £60

Thats £105 I sent a season, so it will take me 2 years to get a £10 voucher.........seems a bit steep for a normal fan don't you think.



I guess it would work for a family who buys say 4 shirts at £45 making £180 and 5 away games for 4 people at £12 making £240 so £480 overall = a £20 voucher. Doesnt seem very rewarding....? But its better than a slap in the face.

I think you might have got it the wrong way round.



You get points by spending at their "partners" (i.e. play.com, PC World etc.) as well as the club.



You then use those points to get your money off in the Bulls store.



You may not spend £200 at the Bulls shop, but for someone who, say, buys a new laptop? Use your card when you buy it at PC World and you end up with some money off at the clubshop for something you were gonna be spending the money on anyway.





It's not about buying stuff to get your points. It's about getting points while you buy stuff you were gonna get anyway.

Just got mine too, and yeah it's the other way round, and I think i'll start using Play instead of amazon

Ok now im confused cause I went on play.com and theres nothing to enter my team card number or anything? Can I back log it for stuff I bought recently?

Go the teamcard site first and log in. Then go to play.com VIA the link at teamcard. It then knows you've gone through that portal and you just shop at play as normal.

The FAQ says you need to make sure you log in to teamcard before doing your online shopping, but I prefer to make sure by using their actual link to the site (although to be honest, that probably makes no difference whatsoever). If you don't log into teamcard before you go to the shop though, you won't get jack.

In all honesty, I've found it quite flaky.



I have put in a few orders with play.com since getting my card. A couple of them worked fine and showed up on my teamcard account. A couple of them just didn't (despite doing it exactly the same way).



Thankfully they're pre-orders, so I'm gonna try to cancel them then do it again. The whole web portal bit though doesn't seem the best.



Perhaps I should start using IE again....

I'm too confused, how come when I bought my Bulls jerseys, they put points on my membership card for purchasing that and a few other things?

Now I'm confused too. I bought my shirt and other things but didn't mention the card (cos I thought it didn't matter) and they never asked, so does this mean I've missed out?

I presented my card when I bought my shirt and have an extra 200 points on my card now because of it.

Ah well, I never really [iexpected[/i to get anything out of it so I can hardly be disappointed
