The lift itself with Jonnys head tucked in put pressure on the spine(Neck) that was before the landing that could have resulted in serious neck damage. Wether or not it was intentional is irrelevant. It was an illegal tackle and should be severely dealt with

As I said on the vt thread, lomax showed a remarkable amount of courage and skill to let himself be led by the head - in that position it's a natural reaction to tuck the head in, which could of led to a nightmare

Looked as though he was definitely driving his head into the ground, that could have had a serious outcome only for Lomax reacting in the last spear, I think Ferres was close to the edge on a couple of tackles today.

Fella got 7 for the McKinnon tackle. Granted the consequences arent as severe, that shouldnt detract from the careless and reckless position he had Jonny in and what could have been!

Bad tackle , no need to be lifting him like that. He should get the book thrown at him but I'm sure the RFL will wuss out.
