This is the usual pedantic arguement when everyone has a go at anything saints fan says. In any other forum it would be bullying.



That is not to say I agree with everything she writes; far from it. But on this occasion, surely all she was saying that prior to becoming SO in the first team he used to play SH in the acadmy and youth structures.

Gaskell did play mainly at scrum half in the under 20's.



He also played some games at fullback and also stand off.



Lomax was used as hooker, standoff and fullback.



Wheeler played mainly standoff but occasionally scrum half.

How many of those games were they [ilisted[/i at scrum half as opposed to assuming the full spectrum of a scrum half's responsibilities?

Hes a halfback,the modern day halfback can usually play 6 or 7

We may miss Wilkin in the forwards but not at half back. Put him in a half back like yesterday when we have an injury crisis that we can't plan for during a game but we should never be planning to play him there from the start.

I am sure someone said that 34. Adam Swift. is the academy scrum half? (not sure havent seen much of the academy this season) maybe he will get a run out

played there last year, been named a number of positions in reserves this year if memory serves
