I think saints are easy a match for anyone in sl! they are still a great team imho!



Hamilton is probably right that if Leeds have only 2 fit props we won't win another gf this year! Lucky for us we have 5 fit props plus ian kirke who has proped in the last 3 gf's and Greg beastwood who played as a prop for us this season and proped for a full season for the doggies last season. He has also proped for the kiwis a fair but too including last season. So we have 7 props right now.



no doubt peacock is a monumental loss. but I think we can hack it.

That is the correct attitude to take. Wigan have been a lot better this year than many (including myself) expected. You cannot judge a season on a single game lost in the playoffs or the cup. The bottom line is Wigan have done very well this year and all Wigan fans should hang their heads high regardless of what happens in the playoffs.



I expect that Wigan are back as a force for good (assuming that the rumours I keep on hearing about Sam Tomkins going to Warrington are not true). Which I think is a good thing as only old guys like myself hold any genuine hate for Wigan these days. Most Saints fans are too young to remember Wigan being any good. It is time for Lancashire (and scummy Cheshire) teams to rule the world only again like the good old days.

That's like me saying if Graham got injured Saints would be OK as we still have 6 props: Hargreaves, Puletua, Maurie, Frodsham, Emmitt, Clough.



The reality is, what's left is massively weaker for Leeds.

If Leeds go on to reach the Grand Final it will be a monumental effort. They've got a cup final to prepare for whilst Saints and Wigan have a week off and they have to qualify from 4th or 5th, and they have to do it without their best player IMO.



At this stage, I'd say Wigan and Saints are favourites to reach the final but Leeds and Warrington are very capable on their day and injuries will obviously play a big part.

If Leeds win at Wembley i can see them taking their foot of the gas for the play-offs having achieved what they really wanted this season,particulary with their injurys, leaving Wigan,Saints and Warrington to fight for the title.

I think warry and leeds being in the cup final next week will take something from them. thats not to say that I don't wish we were there instead.



If we had pryce back together with kyle I would be very confident of beating anybody at any stage. Against leeds in the semi we almost won with no HB's (how come every SL team seems to think: "no HB then no problem we just stichk a few forwards in those roles and we will be OK"?) so we can only get better than that as we showed last week against admittedly the worst bratfud team I have ever seen.

We could have Pryce, Sia and Maurie back for the play offs, if it happens we will be a match for anyone.

wigan finishing 1st, us finishing 2nd will we avoid one another in the play offs.
