Saints have a history of findng money for players when you'd least expect it.
It's only 2 examples and it hasn't happened often but firstly with Newlove and then with Sculthrope they found the cash and suprised everyone.
Especially the Sculthrope deal i remember thinking there was no chance he'd end up at Saints because of the money Wire were after but they found it and will do again for Myler if they really want to.
I think all 3 of Wigan, Wire and Saints will bid for Myler at the end of the season. |

The transfer market was a different beast in those days though, and both of those transfers were funded by selling players - Loughlin, Nickle and Dwyer made up half of the Newlove fee, and we got all of our Sculthorpe money by selling Prescott, Hunte and Booth to Hull. That kind of thing just doesn't happen anymore. I'll be very surprised if we bid for Myler. |

Dobson is a decent player but he's doing well at Hull KR so leave him there so he can help build a side around him on East Hull... I REALLY like Saints' policy of bringing kids through! They've worked fantastically hard to improve the youth set up over the years and the kids are now not just knocking at the door, but 'smashing' straight through it!
I know by experience of watching our great game that not everykid at Saints will come through, but they're not doing too bad so far & they're only babies! I think it's really exciting for Saints & England that these youngsters are coming through!
