McGuire has been quality this year. Has well and truly hit back at all the people (me included) that said he was just a good support player. Has really developed all aspects of his game. Hope he recovers and can reproduce the form in the 4 nations.

when I posted this, there was no news on McGuire and I along with several thousand others thought he was feigning injury to avoid being sent off for the cynical professional foul he did. I honestly thought he would be back in the semi-finals.



I wouldnt wish this type of injury on anyone. It has done your lot a favour as Leeds stand no chance of winning the play-offs now as McGuire is their one player who has been in good form recently (in fact the whole season), maybe they wont beat the stains 3 in a row now.



as for Sam, I have never seen him do a professional foul ever, please enlighten me. Though I would not put it past him had he been in McGuires boots on Sunday

a very nasty injury, but hard to sympathise with an injury sustained while committing a foul. A bit like JJB a couple of weeks ago and Morley's eye socket. Live by the sword die by the sword.

I still don't see it so can't agree. He offers plenty for Leeds in SL but at international level I don't think he gets the room and is far less effective.



Terrible injury either way - maybe their daft Yiwi coach has brought this on his club with comments earlier in the year!
