Chair Maker has mentioned something about Wellens in the Rumour thread; is that it?

Not really he really lays into the current situation. States no player is safe in the team regardless of reputation. Says the squad is getting back to full strength and results need to start happening. Says players must play for the shirt and show desire and there will be no place for those that don't. Says we clearly need a couple of young and enthusiastic big props

Last bit made me chuckle though saying he would personally shoot anyone who complains the ground is too hot when the cladding is put up at the end of this month.

Funny that, he brought all this crap to the club.

Makes sense with the rumours of Perry and Hohaia being told there time is up. A couple more of the squad might start looking over their shoulders if a couple of 'stars' are shown the door

There is no room for sub par performances either from the team or individual players. We have prettying a full squad to choose from now and they all have to play with pride for their shirt, there will be no place for those that don't , regardless of reputation.

Brown needs to read and absorb that bit and then stop tinkering in order to actually give the players a chance to secure some wins.

Other comments of note re half back



Luke Walsh....he has a great kicking game and organisational skills, which is what we have been missing since sean Long left us. We have certainly had no luck with the half backs over the last three years, as key players in those positions have either left, suffered long term injuries or not developed as we had hoped. The only solution is therefore to bring in a tried and tested product from the NRL"



My interpretation of the above would be:-



Players left would be Eastmond,

Long term injuries: Wheeler

Not Developed: Gaskell, Hohoia



Eamonn also says we need " a Couple of big, young and enthusiastic props, to improve our go forward, and to add aggression to our defence"

We've known for two years we needs halfbacks and props, its strange that McManus has only just noticed this.
