The reason Ablett is there now is because the young players are not ready, gibson being the pick of them spent most of last year injured and needs to be allowed as much time as he needs to get back to where he was. I'd have given him more game time up to now though. Add to the fact management dropped a clanger by not bringing in an established pro then quite simply we have no one else to play week in week out other than second row Ablett. With little production coming from our right teams can simply focus more on handling senior much more effectively in pre game preparations.
Hopefully over the next 8 months somone will be good enough to stake that position for themselves.'"

Those bagging Ablett should remember he is being played out of position and asked to do a difficult job for the team. Its' certainly not aiding his game. It reminds me of JJB playing prop in 2005. JJB got loads of stick from 95% of the fekkwitts on here back then in similar circumstances. Now he's a hero.

Don't know about that but he did shuffle inside a spot when Watkins replaced Burrow in the 16th minute due to an illegal challenge by Watmough which was well spotted by the referee. |

Yep, because we usually encourage our players to take the ball into contact again once they're over the try line. I'm sure all fans and coaching staff would have loved to see that. |
