You are correct. I also agree with you about Ash. I can remember watching him at Salford a couple of years ago thinking, "wow!" Unfortunately he got injured that match and I think that could be the tale of his career.
He is solid now, but spectacular? No. I think we could be away at the end of his contract.

| Who would have been cheapest at the time, Challenge cup winner, (although senior was) grand finalist who had played for australia, or the bald bloke who put bj mather on his ar*e on grandstand while playing for GH's other team.

The younger man was the right decision. Its not even about who was cheapest.

| He's average with a criminal lack of pace at SL level, but thats not to say he can't do a job until a better option becomes available.

| I generally dont see why people are disputing Gibsons potential, yes he hasn't been spectacular for Leeds as of late, but alot of players aren't exactly setting the house on fire atm are they. Going back to before Gibson started with his poor run of injuries he was showing class potential and after the injuries he's had it's hard to get back into the swing of things, i know. Its only a matter of time before Gibson shows what he really can do, and proves all the doubters wrong

| I think we can say he is solid enough but needs to start offering something more soon.
If Watkins improves his defence Gibson will be replaced but until then its a flip between the two.
