It's terrible that a city wants to improve and become more attractive to visitors and the people of Hull.



Some really poor attitudes I hope some of the fans that had to witness the Leeds fans fighting at Newcastle don't have the same attitude. I'll still attend and it won't put me off going to Leeds as I know 99% of your fans are well behaved RL fans.



I hope a few of you make the trip over, you players deserve your support and let's hope it's an enjoyable game.

when were the Leeds fans fighting. I sat through all the games except last one and only saw a drunk being evicted and I could not see any colors on him. I sat in the main Leeds allocation in the posh seats

In the leases stand, right at the back, they were fighting with each other, it was before your game against Wigan.

There was one incident in the Milburn / Leazes corner middle tier, and another in the Leazes towards the back of the middle tier - a few rows back from where I was sat. There weren't many police in / around the stadium at all and it took them a good while to get to both. Until that point they largely involved the stewards just keeping their eyes on those involved.



These two fights were not long apart either so if there were very few police inside, that would explain the lack of immediate response. I have never seen such things in the hundreds of football games I have attended at SJP but there are always police within sight so the response would have been much quicker!

As I've said there will have been 4000 Leeds fans in there and maybe 10 were causing trouble, just every team has a few idiots and not just Hull (And we have some right knobs who follow us.

Dave K is right, there are wrong uns at every club, it just happens that Hull have more than their fair share. I think Leeds fans restraint at Newcastle meant there were less punch ups than there might have been. We had only been in our seats for 10 minutes when a Hull fan in front started offering a lad out next to us who was sat with 3 girls. The most disappointing thing was the Hull fan was with his parents who did absolutely nothing to calm the situation. Later on in the game the father turned round and started giving it the big un. Too many Hull fans think they have to live up to the stereotype of dangerous people from a lawless City.

Your a bit harsh,as dave k says all clubs have idiots,but in general us hull kr fans seem to have a reasonable rapport with most clubs fans.No doubt iam about to be shot down in flames.

I quite like HKR, but if they were contesting big games with something at stake there would always be a good chance the Hull temperament could kick in to violent effect. The last bother with your lot was some juiced up divs kicking off in the North Stand 4 years back. Funny thing was a respectable bloke in his 50's challenged a big lump over his language and when the lump punched him the bespectacled geezer then gave him some back and another gorilla had to jump in help his mate. Think it was an all day bender when cricket was on the same Sunday.

I wasn't having a go at 'ull fans for the record, merely reporting on incidents that took place around where I was. For the record, the people around me watching the second one in the Leazes end seemed to generally be of the view that it was the Leeds fan that was swinging his fists the most...
