Good one, totally agree with that one, i know we will never agree on much but we had both had a lot of success over the years but it could be worse.... We could both follow the Wire

there's certainly some cringe worthy posts when we look back with hindsight,but the majority we're made with the clubs best interests at heart.

we all love our club and probably all believe at times that we know best,some a lot more than others.

This is not a new phonemenon. It was argubaly worse in 2007 under Smith's final season. Most of our supporters and most of the posters on here have learned absolutely nothing from watching the greatest group of players in the history of the club show everyone how you play in September and october is really all that counts.

Funny how things change though. Last season didn't really go that well, and this season started worse - that's why a lot of people thought the squad was past it, as well as looking to BM as a reason for poor form. Was there anyone on here predicting we'd win the Championship this year up until the CCC final?



I do find all this gloating over past threads funny though. I for one am absolutely delighted to have been proven wrong. Hope it happens again TBH.

New coaches always need time for their players to adjust to their methods so it was harsh to scream for McDermott's head after one or two dodgy results.

I too am delighted to have been proved wrong. Only recently, however, have we seen a glimpse of the passion that typifies fans, coming from the usually bland face and considered, measured words that gave us so little confidence in the early weeks of the season. I thought, along with many others, that we needed a special spark. Brian Mc D was hiding it under his bushel perhaps? At least it lit up the dressing room, but I couldn't see it in the SS! Thanks Brian - you did a great job!
