Very similar to the Chav ball pundits offering their opinion on Rangers and Celtic in the English Premier League. It probably won't happen but people still have theoretical subjective opinions of how well they would perform.



Personally I'm quite happy with how Leeds are doing in SL. We should rename it the World Super League taking a leaf out of USA's rounders series.

I agree about Leeds being good enough for a mid-table NRL finish. The likes of Salford would not win a game all season. We'll never match their quality, but maybe our competition is at least starting to even out a bit more.

We clearly can match the quality at the top level of the league game its the quantity or depth where we struggle.

And yet Salford beat Leeds and St Helens and both Challenge Cup Finalists

Beat me too it, is this the S type arrogance G1 speaks of.

They caught Leeds and Saints on a good day. If Leeds or Saints put in a performance like they do in GF's (ok maybe not Saints

) then Salford would be lucky to score.

But Leeds and Saints can't maintain that for level of intensity for the whole season.



The poster stated Salford wouldn't win a game and yet they beat the 4 finalsits that compteted in the 2 finals available. Therefore Leeds would have to up their intensity a lot to be able to compete. Don't forget that Leeds CC defeat also meant they had better rest periods than most teams.

Even the short NRL season with it's bye weeks?

They can't its true, although I would guess that they could after a season or so, like Catalans.



However, Leeds & Saints can generally turn up and win in 2nd gear for many games in SL, and the likes of Salford have to be on their best to hope to win one of these games, and combined with the other team not playing so well.



When Salford raise a game its not the the same level as Leeds or Saints raise their game, and therefore I think they'd struggle to get any results

For crying out loud Leeds would be in the top three in the NRL. Its just that we don’t have to play to such a standard in super league that’s required in the NRL. This Leeds Rhinos team is even better than the England squad that we’ll have out on Saturday!
