The attitude of so many rugby league fans is what turns sponsors off getting involved in our sport.

I wonder what the TV presence will be? A similar thing in Australia is the Keno replay. Keno, a crappy game played in the leagues clubs and TAB places sponsors the replays of the tries. It brings money in so I don't mind. There is a reason bingo sites sponsor so many programs on TV these days. It's a popular game!

The majority of rugby league fans aren't even vocally opinionated and therefore you must stop promoting this myth that negativity is the dominating attitude of fans from our sport.



However there's a very vocal minority that are negative and they should be highlighted as just that. Those of us who are big fans of the game in the right way have a responsibility to put these negative snobs in their place by exposing the stupidity of their opinions.

Its an unfortunate fact of human life that in times of austerity the main beneficiaries are alcohol, tobacco and gambling, both retail and manufacturing.



Such a shame that we can no longer take on sponsors in those first two categories.

Something else that hasn't been mentioned much in the discussion.



Foxy Bingo is a subsidiary company of bwin. Where have you seen that name before? Probably on the shirts of one of the biggest football clubs in Europe - Real Madrid.
