If these guys are the next generation of talent in GB, then we have got problems at international level. This was one of the Tigers biggest matches of the season, and an opportunity for them to show they can play on the big stage.



Shenton was totally outclassed by Keith, and looked out of his depth. Has he ever played in front on 17000 before? Probably not. This wasn't some joke test match against France.



I've never quite got where Westerman gets his reputation from, and he just got done over.



I doubt that the Aussies and Kiwis are shaking in their boots.

Shenny was playing a strange role last night, seemed to be somewhere between scrum half and centre.... Never quite understood it, not even now



And Westy hasn't been the same this season, he was great last season but lost it this year. Getting the knock on the head a few months ago hasn't helped his confidence by the look of it either

"2nd season syndrome" for Westerman. 2nd season in Sl anyway.



Shenton I don't think has ever been all that.

Rumours of discontent in the camp as Castleford tighten their belts. How badly did Castleford miss Richard Owen's enthusiasm last night?



Shenton is still a good player (although clearly not on last night's performance) but Senior is still the best centre in SL. I really hope he isn't lost to the Leeds second row too much next season.

Every time I've watched Cas on telly to monitor Shenton this year (in light of the rumours) I've been massively underwhelmed but I've regularly said on here that Owen looks a cracker.

Not a patch on Paul Sykes.

i have to agree that when i've watched shenton to see what all the fuss is about i've been rather underwhelmed.



Kallum Watkins looks like the most promising british younster to me in that department, although he has some way to go yet.

I still think that Ryan Hall would make a cracking centre for you lot, not that he's not already a cracking winger.

Aye to be fair you have, i've got to admit he seems to have lost it somewhat!!!

Agree re-owen aswell cracking player and has a great future if he keeps his head down and working hard.

As for Shenton, he was so owned by Keef last night that the Squeef E-Bay Meister could be flogging the centre on a certain auction based web-site.
