Come on guys, let's try and keep this thread to Joe Westerman and not run around throwing 'troll' accusations about anybody that doesn't rate him.



It's not Joe's fault that he's nothing like Scully or Farrell and the comparisons are as yet so far wide of the mark.





Just try to take it on the chin guys, Farrell and Scully were very special players and Westy has got a lot to do to have a valid comparison to either of those two legends.

And anyone who doesn't agree with your perfectly reasonable assessment of the situation can do what?



Come on, sweety, take it on the chin and admit it. Flowery Farrelll and Scully the Snail aren't fit to lace Westy's boots. It's true and you know it. He's far more special at this stage of his career than they ever were.

He's not exactly a troll from what i've seen on this thread. Just differs in opinion a bit and tbf he makes a fair assessment, Scully and Farrell were something else in this generation

Sculthorpe played many of his early games as a stand-off!



Let's not get all rose tinted about Paul Sculthorpe, he took time to develop just like any other player and eventually became world-class.



Joe Westerman has massive potential and could develop along very similar lines as Sculthorpe but he will need better coaching than Terry Matterson seemed to offer him this year.



Dale Ferguson is a different kind of player and would no doubt hold his second row place down in any super league team. He will get better and could even make an international. However I think Joe has greater potential, Whether he will realise it or not is another matter.
