its a sad sad day for our great game when the RFL send in a task force to help that fake welsh team...just out of curiosity did the RFL task force come knocking on Halifax's door when they were in trouble or are they now sending a task force to Doncaster???
it stinks it is disgusting

I thought you only got 1 point for not having another SL team within a certain radius, not BONUS POINTS for being in Wales!!!
Thing is relying on one man to bankroll a club is very dangerous yet the RFL have just allowed it, look where its got Donny. |

Ah now then, apparently they didn't go bust. I've had it rammed down my throat that it was the parent company of LB that folded. Nothing to do with LB, AND, the RFL didn't punish them because it occurred BEFORE all the rules about administration came in.
That's the official story. |

A disgrace. Over the last decade there have been numerous heartland, original rugby league clubs that have gone to the wall, usually for bad finacial decisions. But this time Celtic go to thewall because of a bad RFL decision so they bail them out.
Seriously, a good sport/business lawyer for those clubs could take RFL to the cleaners.
Franchise? Forget it. Give the game back to the people that love it!!
