I know we are tired but very disappointing to lose. Well done Hunslet good for you. We should have enough to beat them. Poor defending again by the sounds of it. Simply not good enough! We can make excuses, but frankly I do not want to hear about them. The players need to have a look at themselves. I expect do not expect Fax to concede 42 Points at home to a Championship 1 team. For me I find that very poor and must question the effort put in today. We had enough energy to make a comeback late in the game so we cant have been that tired.

I've said it for the last two seasons, we need a defensive coach! We concede far too many soft tries, and doesn't seem like it's gonna change! Don't get me wrong Calland does a good job, I just think he could use someone along side him to tighten the defence up!

We also need some composure in attack, we blow more than we score.

A few of the lads need to step up too, a few of the fringe players didnt stake claims for first team positions today AT ALL and left it to tired legs to try drag us out of the hole. Bad luck, Injuries and blatant Hunslet gamesmanship can't be blamed though. Brannighan said on Thursday 'Were our own worst enemies'

Composure is the key to us. Too many times we try to force passes and not look around at our options or whether even passing is a good option at times.



Even Paterson at the end rushed the kick at goal, even though a draw was good enough for us. Was no one telling the players before the game or even during the game towards the end. They should have known at the kick off that all they had to do was play out a set and kick long. Every carry should have been two handed making sure of ball security. They would have got away with daylight robbery then.



The only two people I thought could hold their heads up high after today was Rob Worrincy who I thought was MOM for Fax and Branighan who played on despite the cheap shot . (Which should have been a penalty try anyway)
