They are not bailing them out with any money from the RFL coffers they are helping them find new investment from external sources.

In that case its ok? So celtic don't need to employ development personnel, the RFL will do it for them? Doncaster are struggling to filed 13 players, and as yet I am yet to see the RFL comein and helpl them, no, the RFL leave that to the rugby league clubs that care about tradition and heritage to help out these clubs!!!

Whatever any of us think , we as a sport need Celtic to survive , so for me the RFL should chip in with funds to keep them afloat



However that money should come from the other SL clubs via the SKY money

I never said it was OK. The trouble is whenever there is a story about Celtic people jump on the bandwaggon and start making claims such as the RFL bailing them out (as with this thread) when that is not the case at all so if we are going to b!tch about Celtic then we need to get facts straight before sweeping remarks.



Reading the statement from the RFL it seems that the scheme the RFL are running with Celtic such as trying to find other investments is an option that all clubs have access to and have taken up. Am sure this would be open to clubs outside SL and am sure the RFL are working alongside Donny to help (such as our coaches to our away game there) to try ease their burden.



Would anyone complain if the RFL bailed out Donny? No, because people see them as a traditional club, yet if the RFL bailed out Celtic all hell would break loose (I.e. London a while ago).

I don't understand why people want a rugby league team to fail.

They might have had more people through the gates if they'd won more which might have happened if they hadn't employed a load of Aussies and gotten some sort of pre-season.
