Who would have predicted back in 2005  that the world would be in reccession in 2009 ? |

They did lend us busses to go to Donny,. Did we ever send them back?? There were a couple on Ebay two days later. |

The quote 'Crusaders chairman Leighton Samuel told BBC Sport: "We must go forward with a viable facility and the stadium at the Brewery Field was not ideal at the time of the initial bid, it didn't meet certain criteria and we have to meet that criteria this time.
"Rodney Parade certainly meets that criteria, especially in terms of capacity. makes a total mockery of the franchise system.
So Celtic Crusaders now admit themselves that their ground does not meet the criteria, what with no fans hardly and living off one man's money how on earth did the RFL let this through???
We all know why its the old chestnut ' expansion at any price' yet again.
Makes me sick as all we ever get is 'flat cappers' and Dinosaurs yet all we care about is our game and people in places like Gateshead, Sheffield, Blackpool, Bridgend, Toulouse don't now nor ever will give a toss about RL.
Only the RL loving Catalans are justified in having a SL team imo

I don't think they got awarded any criteria points for their ground. They collected points for other stuff. It's like a Tesco clubcard - i get points off when i shop for food and petrol but i don't have a Tesco visa card so i don't get any points. The RFL run a similar system - Lewis & Wood Loyalty cards  |

its a sad sad day for our great game when the RFL send in a task force to help that fake welsh team...just out of curiosity did the RFL task force come knocking on Halifax's door when they were in trouble or are they now sending a task force to Doncaster???
it stinks it is disgusting
