I'm in Surrey and just finished work so clearly can't make tonight's forum. Can anyone gives us a précis when it's finished?

I couldn't attend myself but do understand the meeting got so heated that the fire brigade had to attend.

Gareth Baigent appointed on executive committee.His main task is to better

relations between Fax and Town.This gets my seal of approval.

As regular reades will know I have never posted a negative comment about us on this board, so I will refrain from commenting on this venture but wish Mr Baigent every success.

Main points from memory before the fire alarm went off were:



1.Marshall tasked with top four finish

2.Fax looking at' link' with a SL club and clubs below to have players play for us if it 'suits Halifax' and loan our fringe players respectively.(My guess is Hull KR for the SL club( but that's not been delivered by Fax)

3. Fax pay £52k for annual rent. Shaymen pay £36k annual rent.

4. Scoreboard won't happen unless Fax and Shaymen share cost.

5. Approximately 30 odd tickets left for Summer Bash in North Stand and approximately 90 tickets left for West Stand

6.Big push on linking up with local clubs and possibly have some of the forums or functions at these clubs.

7.Nominated fax player to be linked with each local club

8. Fax currently training 4 times a week and working on more 'flair' rugby.

9. 'Team Halifax RLFC- was the management speak to all of us both on and off the field getting behind the club and spreading the word.

10. Same person who lit the fire at Warrington in Fax stand in Grand Final was at it again last night in the Fax East stand





Hope this helps those that wanted more information.

PS Fax TV to continue with Huddersfield Uni taking over the delivery from PJ(who did a great job) I think they are trying to go down the Leigh TV route and get some revenue if they get enough interest etc.

Sounds O.K. so long as the 2nd one doesn't come off!

Think its fantastic that the club are involving fans in this way.



Think all the points are good, particularly linking with local sides.



Only issue is point 2, I really feel we should steer clear of dual reg. Especially as I dont see Hull KR as a good enough side to have reserves that would benefit us.

Agreed, KR could very well be in the middle 8, hopefully alongside ourselves so how we would benefit is a big question, in fact if that is the scenario it would have potentially weakened us for the end if the season.

I wish the club would hurry up and let us know if they are to have a link/dual reg with a SL club. Some of us need to know whether to purchase summer bash tickets, book hotels, buy new replica etcetera.

So are you saying if we do you won't do any of those things?
