Delighted for Chris and his family - what a role model he is for all professional sportsmen to aspire to. His contract with Warrington will run to the end of 2019. The way he looks after himself he will be a "young" 32 on 3 Nov '19 and hopefully ready to be welcomed back home at Leigh to complete an illustrious career.

We all knew how good a player Hill was, now he's shown the rest of the RL world and he’s been rewarded for it. Wish him all the best (well apart from when Leigh play Warrington once we get back in SL).

Why would we want him back when he's 32? Don't get me wrong I think he's a brilliant player and was a great servant at Leigh but I don't want people coming back for the "last hurrah" anymore unless they are up to the task.

I'm hoping by 2019 we'll be competing with Wire on an even footing anyway, I can't see any reason why not if we continue to develop the club and the brand effectively.

That said many congratulations to the guy, he's earned everything he's been given thus far.

32 is not really that old for a prop - should have a good year or two left in him by that stage...

Take your point Kevster but the age issue has to be linked to quality, fitness and attitude.
