Wigan Riversiders took the spolis in the first pre season game of 2010. A game that was played in the greatest of fashions which was a credit to both sides. The Riversiders took the lead after soaking up some good attack from Ashton near to the line and never looked back.

| NEWS - Pre Season Friendly Ashton v Riversiders - 6th March 2010 |
The Wigan Riversiders take to the field this weekend for there first pre season friendly game ahead of the 2010 Summer Conference season. This game will be a combination of both the first and second team squads, basically anyone who is available for a game, will get a game. Players will need to be registered ahead of the game, forms will be available on the day.

| REGISTRATION NIGHT Saturday 27th |
Reminder to all players, the Wigan Riversiders registration night is being held in the Bowling Green Wigan Lane this Saturday from 730pm. As last year the Registration fee is £15 per player which covers your RFL fee and your Insurance!
The night is also a excuse to have a knees up, food will be put on by the Bowling Green (The Riversiders NEW Shirt Sponsor for 2010), Kareoke will also be on.

Wigan Riversiders RLC Training ahead on of the 2010 Season will commence on Tuesday the 2nd February 2010 as will be held on Tuesday nights moving forward until we can secure a location to train on Wednesdays, info as below:

STANDISH HIGH SCHOOL
Training will be each week at this time. |

The annual Riversiders pub crawl will take place on Saturday 19th December. This year sees the 7th year of the pub crawl and promises to be another excellent night.
The Theme for the night will be to dress as 'old men'.
