RESULT: Wigan Bulldogs 20 Wigan Riversiders 22
The Riversiders continued in winning ways, but only just against a gritty and determined Bulldogs side.

After only 10 minutes of the game the Riversiders saw themselves 16-0 up after tries from Greg Brown, Craig Hogan and Mike West on debut.

For the next 50 minutes of the game it was all about the Bulldogs, it has to be said with help from the Riversiders, dropped ball, penalties kept on giving the Bulldogs field position and it didnt take them long to smell an upset.

With 10 left on the clock, the Riversiders found themselves behind 20-16 after a great comback from the Bulldogs, the cause was not helped after Mike West has to leave the field with a suspected broken jaw and Craig Johnson was sin-binned after exchanging words with the match official.

The Riversiders took the game after a mistake from the Bulldogs full back, loose forward Gavin Hurst was the quickest to reacte to a loose ball and raced under the sticks to give the Riversider a 22-20 victory.

Coach Mayo was rightly unhappy with the overall performance after the first 10 minutes. But did take positives from the way some things from the training pitch where executed well on the field.

Training continues this Wednesday, 645 at Wigan St Judes, the next game will be the road trip to Northampton on the 14th April.

RESULT: Riversiders 34 Bolton Mets 22
The Wigan Riversiders got back to winning ways in a pre season victoty over the Bolton Mets.

The game was played in a nice 20 degree heat, and proves why the game was best served to move to the summer. Both teams tried to play an expensive game early on and a few handling errors came from over confident play.

The game was tied at 10-10 at half time, but the Riversiders took control on the final 20 and showed determination to complete the full 80.

Tries from: Rich Mcleod, Jack Rignall, Craig Johnson (2), Craig Lucas, Simon Atherton
